Great for a break during shopping at ‘Cafe Mademoiselle’｜買い物途中の休憩にも「カフェ・マドモアゼル」

We happened upon Café Mademoiselle last time we were in Paris and thought the food was very delicious, so we were keen to come back on this trip! We visited around noon and relaxed in the breezy interior, with all the windows facing on to the street left open. Summer in Paris is such a pleasant and bright season.

Despite being in the heart of the city, it feels like a neighbourhood brasserie, with customers constantly coming and going – it is definitely popular!

Although I was tempted by the steak tartare I had last time, we opted for the quinoa salad and white fish dishes on this visit.

The degree of baking and amount of salt are exquisite and, as a result, the food is so satisfying. The desserts looked very tempting, but unfortunately we had other plans. We’re already looking forward to what we’ll try on our next visit!

前回、たまたま通りかかった時に見つけて入ってみたら、お料理がとても美味しかったので、今回の滞在でもお昼時に訪ねてみました。気温が心地よいので、通りに面した窓はすべて開けっ放しです。やはり夏場のパリは明るくて格段に気持ちの良い季節です。

席に着いて注文するまでの間でも、入れ替わり立ち替わり客がやってくるので、人気店なのに違いはなさそう。

前回訪れた時にいただいた牛肉のタルタルと迷った挙句、今回はキヌアサラダと白身魚の料理を注文しました。

焼き加減も塩加減も絶妙で、結果、大満足。食後のデザートもとても魅かれたのですが、もう行く所を決めていたので今回は見送ることに。次回はどんなお料理があるのか、既に期待が膨らみます。
