After a short trip to Venice, we returned to London. The accommodation I recommended to a friend was the London Hilton on Park Lane. There are now many Hilton hotels in London, but this was the first Hilton hotel in the UK, opened in 1963. (By the way, the Hilton opened in Tokyo in 1963.)
