I commemorated becoming a Diamond member of Hilton Honors at the end of 2022 with a stay at the Hilton Paris Opera.

We left London on the Eurostar early in the morning, changed to the RER E line at Paris Nord Station, and arrived at the hotel before noon. Even though it was well before the check-in time, the room was arranged immediately. I have stayed here several times before (here is the link our latest stay), but this time I was surprised by the extravagant floor plan of the huge room we were upgraded to. I was also able to enter the lounge during happy hour. All of these are exclusive benefits for Diamond members.

Wanting to stay in a hotel as long as possible is such a change to ​​when I used to stay in inexpensive hotels and youth hostels during my school days. Immersed in the happy mood of the lounge with a drink in hand, I felt that this is now the way to enjoy traveling for my age!
