Review: Hilton Nicosia (Cyprus)

After staying in Larnaca in the south of Cyprus for two nights, we moved on to the capital city of Nicosia to stay at the Hilton there.

When entering the building, the first thing you’ll notice is the spacious lobby in a large atrium. The reception furniture, furnishings, lighting fixtures, and the texture of the floor and pillars, were all in harmony, and I was instantly captivated by the gorgeous yet calm atmosphere.

After the 1-hour drive from Larnaca, I immediately went to the lounge to soothe my thirsty throat. After a short break, we then headed to the hotel’s most enjoyable Hiltonia Spa.

The spa is equipped with an indoor pool, a jacuzzi, a dry sauna, a steam sauna, and massage rooms. I lay down for a while on a sun lounger by the outdoor pool to cool my body after the sauna. The spring sunshine wasn’t that strong yet, but when I saw the reflections on the surface of the pool, I couldn’t wait for the coming summer.

Mint Bar, which we could only take a quick peek at from the lobby this time, looked fantastic so we’ll definitely be spending a night here next time.

And one more thing to remember is Akakiko Easy Japanese, a restaurant in the hotel. Cyprus is rich in fresh seafood and vegetables, so I have high expectations for Cyprus-style Japanese food.
