Review: Hilton Aberdeen TECA

Review: Hilton Aberdeen TECA

We came to Aberdeen in north-east Scotland during the Easter holidays. The Azuma, which I used when going to Edinburgh, also runs to Aberdeen, but it would take over 8 hours, so I decided to fly. We stayed at the Hilton Aberdeen TECA near the airport. The hotel looks huge as it is integrated with a large event venue, including a 15,000-capacity arena. The complex opened in 2019, so my first impression was that everything still feels new and very clean. Having been more than 5 hours since I left home, I was tired when I arrived so quickly put my luggage in the room and headed to the lounge….

Review: Hilton Berlin

Review: Hilton Berlin

I visited Berlin several times while studying in Germany. I haven’t had the chance to visit Berlin in 13 years. Berlin was said to be the largest construction site in Europe since Germany reunification, and I always look forward to following the changes every time I visit. Contents AccessRoomBreakfastExecutive loungeSwimming pool and saunaUseful Information Access Arriving at the newly completed Berlin-Brandenburg Airport, I looked at the scenery from the window while heading to the centre of Berlin on a direct train. Review: Hilton Evian les Bains

After leaving Châtel, we headed to Evian-les-Bains, a picturesque town on the shores of Lake Geneva. It takes about an hour by car, but we used the ski bus and the train, so we had to take a break in the town of Thonon-les-Bains on the way. ‘Les bains’ is French for hot springs or baths. You can view the bus timetable from Châtel to Thonon-les-Bains on this external site. At the bottom of the site, you can download the timetable. Needless to say, Evian-les-Bains is famous for its mineral water, and there is also a spa facility that uses Evian water. Next to the spa complex is the Hilton Evian-les-Bains,…

Review: Hilton Paris Opera (2023)

I commemorated becoming a Diamond member of Hilton Honors at the end of 2022 with a stay at the Hilton Paris Opera. We left London on the Eurostar early in the morning, changed to the RER E line at Paris Nord Station, and arrived at the hotel before noon. Even though it was well before the check-in time, the room was arranged immediately. I have stayed here several times before (here is the link our latest stay), but this time I was surprised by the extravagant floor plan of the huge room we were upgraded to. I was also able to enter the lounge during happy hour. All of these…

Review: Hilton Tokyo Bay

Review: Hilton Tokyo Bay

This Japan trip was intense every day, as we tried to make up for not being able to visit for the past three years. I can’t help but think that the reason why I was able to endure such a busy trip in such a good mood from start to finish was largely due to the comfort of my accommodation. At the end of the trip, my wish came true and I was able to stay at the Hilton Tokyo Bay. When you transfer to the Disney Resort Line at Maihama Station, you will already feel like you’re in the world of Disney. After checking in, I headed straight to…

Review: Hilton Tokyo Odaiba (2022)

It’s been three years since I last landed at Haneda Airport. By mid-November, London is already in the middle of winter, whereas Tokyo still has plenty of light. The immigration procedures, which were heightened due to the pandemic, were surprisingly easy. My regular hotel in Tokyo is the Hilton Tokyo Odaiba. While waiting for check-in, I was captivated by the wonderful view of the Rainbow Bridge directly in front of the lobby; I gradually felt that I was finally back in Tokyo! When I arrived at the room, I felt tired from the long trip, but after going out to the balcony and looking at Tokyo Bay at night and…
