If you visit Brighton, you will definitely notice the British Airways i360 – especially when staying at the Hilton as it is practically right in front of the hotel. 

You can order a drink while waiting on the ground (and bring it on board), or you can buy it on board after “takeoff”. The picture is of Brighton Gin, which had a refreshing scent of orange. 

The “flight” time was about 30 minutes, and gives fantastic views of Brighton’s scenic coastline, including Seven Sisters (famous for its chalky coastal cliffs) in the distance, and Brighton Pier (amusement park like Dejima) in the foreground. I thoroughly enjoyed getting a new perspective on Brighton from the sky!

ブライトンを訪れたなら否応なく目に留まるのが、この、ブリティッシュ・エアウェイズ ・アイ３６０。ホテルのすぐ目の前に聳え立つタワーに、「搭乗」してきました。

地上での待ち時間に飲み物を頼んで、機内に持ち込むこともできますが、そうでなくても離陸後に機内で購入することもできるそうです。写真に撮ったのは、ブライトン・ジン。ジンに配合されたオレンジの爽やかな香りが微かにお口に広がります。

３０分程の飛行時間がでしたが、ブライトンの風光明媚な海岸線、その奥にあるセブン・シスターズ（白亜の海岸崖で有名）、手前のブライトン・ピア（出島のような遊園地）と、上空からしっかり堪能できました。
