Check-in and picnic

After checking-in in the afternoon, we headed to St. James’s Park, just a stone’s throw from the hotel. After enjoying a picnic with lots of people by the pond on a sunny day, we returned to the hotel in time for the evening cocktail time. At this time of year, evenings are still bright until around 9pm, so if you don’t look at the clock, you’ll lose track of time.

Executive lounge

There were delicious canapés served during cocktail time, making it enjoyable also for those who cannot drink alcohol.

Room and dinner in a pub

The interior of the guest room is modern and urban, not flashy, and unified with calm colours, so it is relaxing.

After taking a break in our stunning Executive room, we went for dinner at the hotel’s on-site pub. Even in a luxury hotel like Conrad, there’s always a pub in Britain ! It was a satisfying dinner of classic fish and chips.

When you come to London, look for your favourite pub. Whether it’s lunch or dinner, it’s more memorable than a meal at any restaurant.

Breakfast

For breakfast, just like at the Conrad Tokyo, you can choose one item from the a la carte menu. I ordered an omelet and pancakes, but the other items were so delicious I’d definitely like to try them.

Useful information

From Heathrow Airport, I think the easiest way to get there is to take the Heathrow Express or Elizabeth Line to Paddington Station, then take the Circle Line to St. James’s Park Station, with the least number of transfers. For the Circle Line transfer station at Paddington Station, look carefully at the route map and head towards the direction via Victoria Station. Although it is called a circle line, it is not a complete loop, so if you go in the direction of Hammersmith, it will be difficult to turn back.
