Review: Lost Property St Paul’s London
A dear friend from Japan came to London for the first time in four years, and I recommended a stay at Lost Property St. Paul’s London. If you use the Elizabeth Line, which opened last year, you can get to Farringdon Station near the hotel, which is very convenient.

The hotel is just a stone’s throw from St. Paul’s Cathedral. Perhaps because it is a designated building, it has an unassuming exterior, but once you step inside, you’ll be captivated by the wonderful interiors. One of the most beautiful features is the lighting made from Murano glass. The chandelier hanging over the restaurant has many birds layered on top of each other, making it look like one big bird.

Visiting London for the first time in a while meant there was a lot to talk about, but since it was a long journey from Japan and there was a time difference, I decided to let them rest after dinner in order to prepare for the next day.

Useful information
The Elizabeth Line is a new railway network that opened in 2022, connecting east and west London. You can now travel directly between Heathrow Airport and various stations in London. The Piccadilly underground line also continues to operate. I think it’s a good idea to choose which one to use depending on your destination and the amount of luggage you have, but if your destination is east of Knightsbridge station, I would recommend to take the Elizabeth Line and then change to another subway line or Thameslink.
